Kim So Hyun achieved 10 million followers on Instagram as of Jan 15.
Though she doesn’t actively share her daily life on the platform, it is speculated that she was able to secure many followers in a short period of time thanks to those who saw her numerous works. The actress’s popularity overseas will also have taken a great part in this feat.
Back in 2019, Kim So Hyun’s Instagram account was selected as the “most grown account in 2018” at the “Instagram Press Conference” held in 2019, and received the “SNS Star Award” from Instagram headquarters.
In an interview published in the August issue of TS Magazine in 2017, she shared, “I want to follow all my fans. So I once stayed up all night pressing the follow button. My account was suspended because they thought something wasn’t right after I followed so many accounts.”
Besides Kim So Hyun, IU, Suzy, Lee Sung Kyung, YoonA, Park Shin Hye and Song Hye Kyo have 10 million followers. But of them all, Kim So Hyun is the youngest at the age of 21.
Meanwhile, Kim So Hyun will return to the small screen next month with River Where the Moon Rises.
