Actor Bae Jin Woong has denied the allegations of sexual harassment and attempted rape. Bae Jin Woong’s attorney stated that all claims written in the complaint are false and that Bae is actually the one who got molested.
On Jan 12, Bae’s legal representative Park Ji Hoon sent out the official statement to media outlets, affirming, “We ask you to refrain from making false reports about Bae Jin Woong.”
A media outlet reported on Jan 11 that actor A is currently under investigation for sexually harassing actress B. Soon, A’s real name was revealed to be Bae Jin Woong. Lawyer Park wrote, “The media outlet wrote the content so that it didn’t take a lot to identify the person in question (A) as Bae Jin Woong.”
He then stressed that although “B did sue Bae Jin Woong for,” all her claims are false and that he has acquired “multiple concrete evidences” to back his case.
According to the official statement, the perpetrator of the assault is actually actress B. “Before the report came out, I had already sued B on behalf of Bae Jin Woong for indecent assault,” Park added.
Finally, Bae’s side stated, “Many media outlets unilaterally reported B’s malicious and absurd claims. We will sternly respond to the spread of false information.”
