Song Hye Kyo will make her comeback with a revenge drama written by star screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. The two first met in 2016 through the drama Descendant of the Sun. Song Hye Kyo and Kim Eun Sook’s new drama The Glory is a revenge drama revolving around school violence. It tells a wicked yet sad story of a woman who plotted her revenge for a long time. When she was a high school girl, she dreamed of becoming an architect, but she had to drop out of school when she became the target of brutal school violence. Since then, she waited until the bully got married, had kids, and that child entered elementary school. After years of plotting, she begins her thorough and desperate revenge on the perpetrators and bystanders after being appointed as the child’s homeroom teacher. Kim Eun Sook is one of the biggest writers in Korea who produced multiple global-hit dramas like Secret Garden, The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun and Goblin. Stranger, Memories of the Alhambra and Record of Youth director Ahn Gil Ho will helm the drama.
