Shin Min Ah is positively considering her appearance in tvN’s new drama, Mr. Hong (working title).
On Dec 21, an official from AM Entertainment shared, “Shin Min Ah is positively reviewing the offer to star in Mr. Hong.”
This new rom-com drama Mr. Hong is the remake of the 2004 film Mr. Handy, Mr Hong, starring Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Joo Hyuk. The film tells the romance between perfectionist Hye Jin, who moves down to the countryside to open her own dental clinic, and Mr. Handy, who happens to be a Chinese food deliveryman, a clerk at the convenience store, a singer at a live café, a patrolman and many other things.
Earlier today, Kim Sun Ho was reported to have been offered the role of Hong Doo Sik.
If Shin Min Ah confirms her appearance, she will play dentist Yoon Hye Jin. She is a slave of materials who loves herself and flexes her success through shopping. But she is also an individualist who seeks “goodness” by regularly sponsoring the socially disadvantaged.
Attention focuses on if Shin Min Ah will make her return to the small screen two years after Chief of Staff alongside Kim Sun Ho.
