Actress Kim Ah Joong is coming back.
According to Daily Sports, Kim Ah Joong has been cast to play the lead role in the new SBS drama One the Woman, scheduled to premiere this coming summer.
One the Woman starts when a dirty prosecutor finds herself in a situation where her life has been switched with that of a modest daughter-in-law who looks just like her after she loses her memory. Now, she has to remember who she really was in order to return to her real self.
Kim Ah Joong will play Cho Yeon Joo, the only daughter of a gangster and a prosecutor. She gets involved in a car accident while chasing a suspect who looks just like her, and when she wakes up, her life has been “switched” to that of a large conglomerate’s youngest daughter, who is living a modest life after going through an unwanted marriage of convenience.
This marks the actress’s comeback to the small screen after 4 years since Live Up to Your Name. Attention focuses on how she will portray two characters who show two opposite personalities.
One the Woman is penned by writer Kim Yoon and directed by High Society and Good Casting director Choi Young Hoon. It has been programmed as an SBS Monday-Tuesday drama, scheduled to air in July 2021.
