Blackpink’s Livestream Concert “THE SHOW” (YG PALM STAGE – 2020 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW) has been postponed to January 31.

The decision came inevitable as the social distancing level in the Seoul metropolitan area was practically raised to 3 for safety reasons with the re-surge of the COVID-19 confirmed cases.

In regards to the postponement, YG Entertainment asked the fans’ for their understanding, saying, “We will work harder for the fans who have been waiting and greet you with a better performance.”

Blackpink also expressed their regret to fans through a video posted on YouTube. “Through our concert, we wanted to give you some sort of comfort during these difficult times, but the most important thing is the health and safety of everything taking part in ‘THE SHOW,’” they said. “Thank you so much to all the medical staff who are working nonstop to give their best efforts even at this moment. As the year comes to an end, please stay safe and healthy and see you next year at ‘THE SHOW’!”
