Time Magazine selected the band’s first LP album in the U.S., All About Luv. It introduced the album to have “made headlines for being the first all-English album from a K-pop group,” but “isn’t just notable for its linguistic direction.” Time Magazine further explained that the album ranges from “bouncy electro-pop jams to gentle, synth-infused ballads” and hence “unleash[es] a soft and sensual side” of Monsta X. The article particularly praised Jooheon and I.M’s contribution for “flexing their singing pipes in this vocal-centric album.”

Pop Crush, a U.S. based Entertainment Magazine, also made favorable comments on the album. It mentioned how “Monsta X gets real and upfront about almost every aspect about love: having a crush, booty calls, and falling out of love.”

All About Luv debuted with 5th place in Billboard 200 and was also listed in other Billboard charts such as Social 50, Top Current Album Sales, and TasteMakers.
