Lee Jong Suk has officially locked in his next drama role.
On May 13th, MyDaily reported that the actor will lead Paradise (literal title), the new series from acclaimed writer Kim Soo Jin.
Paradise marks Kim Soo Jin’s first new project in five years following the success of the hit psychological thriller Beyond Evil. Known for her tightly written suspense stories, the Baeksang Arts Awards-winning writer is already sparking buzz with the project based on the title alone.
The drama will be directed by Oh Choong Hwan, whose previous works include Start-Up, Castaway Diva, and Melo Movie. Paradise will also reunite Lee Jong Suk and Oh Choong Hwan for the third time following While You Were Sleeping and Big Mouth.
Even in its early production stages, Paradise has been gaining attention as one of the most anticipated Korean dramas of 2027 thanks to its standout creative lineup.
