Lee Ki Taek is officially joining 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4 as its newest cast member.
According to reports on May 14th, Lee Ki Taek will join the long-running program following the departure of Yoo Seon Ho.
First launched in 2007, 2 Days & 1 Night remains one of KBS’ signature variety shows and a longtime weekend favorite. The current cast includes Kim Jong Min, Moon Se Yoon, Lee Joon and DinDin.
Lee Ki Taek is set to fill the vacancy left by Yoo Seon Ho, who recently announced his exit from the show after three and a half years. At the time, the production team thanked Yoo Seon Ho for bringing youthful energy throughout his run.
Lee Ki Taek first debuted as a model in 2018 before beginning his acting career through the 2020 web drama In Seoul 2.
Since then, he has steadily built his résumé with roles in dramas including The Devil Judge, Moonshine, My Happy End and Namib. Most recently, he drew attention for his role as Shin Ji Soo in JTBC drama The Practical Guide to Love.
The actor has also been expanding into variety programming. He recently made his first regular variety appearance on Coupang Play’s Bonjour Bakery, where he has been appearing as an assistant chef.
