AKMU, CORTIS and BTS were among the top performers on South Korea’s Circle Chart for Week 19 of 2026.
On May 13th, the Korea Popmusic Industry Association announced that AKMU claimed six chart titles during the tracking period of May 3rd through May 9th, while CORTIS earned two No. 1s and BTS once again topped the Global K-pop Chart.
AKMU dominated the week with “Paradise of Rumors,” which topped the Digital, Download, Streaming, V Caller Ring, Ringtone and Dial Tone charts. The song earned a Circle Index score of 18,827,822. “Paradise of Rumors” serves as a pre-release track from AKMU’s fourth full-length album Flowering and delivers a warm message of comfort and healing.
Meanwhile, rookie group CORTIS scored a double crown with their second mini album GREENGREEN, which topped both the album chart and retail album chart. The album sold 1,468,919 copies overall, while retail sales reached 479,296 copies. Combined sales for all versions of GREENGREEN (CD, Weverse and LP editions) surpassed 2 million copies on the album chart and more than 730,000 copies on the retail chart.
BTS also continued their strong run, holding onto No. 1 on the Global K-pop Chart for a seventh consecutive week with “SWIM,” the title track from their fifth full-length album ARIRANG. The song delivers a message about continuing to push forward through life’s waves.
Elsewhere, ILLIT remained No. 1 on the Social Chart 3.0 for a second straight week, while T.O.P recorded the biggest jump in rankings during Week 19.
New entries inside the Global K-pop Chart Top 200 this week included BABYMONSTER’s “CHOOM” at No. 9 and CORTIS’ “TNT” at No. 27.
