The main poster for True Beauty, scheduled to premiere on December 9, was dropped today, making the hearts of prospective viewers flutter.
True Beauty is a romantic comedy about Joo Kyung, who became a “goddess” through “makeup” and Su Ho, who harbors a few dark secrets from his past, sharing each other’s pains and growing up. The drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, and Extraordinary You director Kim Sang Hyeop will be in charge of directing.
In the poster, all three stars, Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeob, show off their dashing visuals. Although each of them gives off a different vibe, there is no doubt that this will be a drama that presents “true beauty.” Another point that catches the eye is the mirror that reflects Joo Kyung’s face without makeup. The text on the poster reads, “Do the effects of makeup also work on relationships?”
Along with the main poster that shows three actors, an illustrated version of the same poster was also released, drawing attention.
Meanwhile, webtoon True Beauty was published through Naver Webtoon in 2018 and has gained much popularity not only in Korea but also in the US, Japan, France and more, recording 4 billion views.
