KBS has temporarily suspended the production of major dramas.
On August 22, KBS announced its official position, saying, “We decided to temporarily suspend the production of major dramas for one week from August 24 to August 30 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
With such a decision, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, If You Cheat, You Die, Blade of the Phantom Master, Love Blooming House, and Man in a Veil have come to an all-stop.
The schedule has also been adjusted. KBS added, “The schedules for Wednesday-Thursday dramas, including Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, scheduled to premiere on August 26, will inevitably be adjusted.”
Then they finished by saying, “The future schedules can also change depending on the COVID-19 situations. We hope viewers will understand that it is a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, as Huh Dong Won, who appears in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, has been tested positive with COVID-19, the entire staff and actors have been on alert. But fortunately, other actors, including Go Ah Ra, Lee Jae Wook, Kim Joo Heon, and Ye Ji Won, have all received negative results.
