Red Velvet’s Wendy, who has temporarily suspended all activities due to injury, is returning to the K-POP scene. And the reactions of Red Velvet members are receiving much attention.
On August 21, SM Entertainment posted a 30-second “Milky Way” teaser on its YouTube channel. The video shows Red Velvet members sitting on chairs and singing in harmony.
Especially, Wendy’s appearance in official Red Velvet activities after eight months is drawing keen attention. While the other members were singing, they kept making eye contact, welcoming Wendy.
Red Velvet has been selected as the artist to join the “Our Beloved BoA” project and will sing the remake version of “Milky Way,” which will be released at 6:00 p.m. on August 21 KST. The group will also hold a V LIVE streaming on August 25.
An official from SM Entertainment said, “Wendy has recovered a lot and will participate in Red Velvet promotions at a level that will not strain her.”
