The upcoming drama Backstreet Rookie is a unpredictable romantic comedy between an oddball part-timer at a convenience store and a clumsy yet handsome manager of the store.

Director Lee Myung Woo, who directed the mega hit drama The Fiery Priest last year, will be in charge of producing the upcoming drama.

On top of that, Kim Yoo Jung and Ji Chang Wook confirmed their roles in the drama, further raising the attention. Kim Yoo Jung will play the role of Jung Saet Byul, a ‘wonderfully weird’ part-timer working the night shift.

Jin Chang Wook will play the role of Choi Dae Hyun, a handsome manager who runs the convenience store. The character pretends to be feisty but is as soft as marshmallow inside.

The production team asked for a lot of anticipation and interest for the high quality drama Backstreet Rookie.
