JTBC’s upcoming drama Love Rediscovered has temporarily paused production for one month.

The cast and crew recently received notice that filming would be suspended for a month, “for script and other preparations according to multiple industry sources on June 22nd.

Love Rediscovered is an office romance drama about a divorced couple who unexpectedly end up working at the same company while still sharing a home. As they navigate their complicated situation, they gradually reconnect and rediscover their feelings for each other.

The series stars Kim So Yeon, Kim Ji Seok, Yoon Hyun Min and Hwang Woo Seul Hye. It is being produced by SLL, Studio Him and Alquimista Media.

Filming began earlier this year with plans to premiere in the second half of 2026. However, news of the production break sparked speculation that it could be related to recent financial difficulties affecting JTBC and several affiliated companies.

One industry insider dismissed those concerns, saying the production team was simply told the break was intended to give the drama time to reorganize and prepare.

A representative for Love Rediscovered also explained that the production needed additional time because not enough scripts had been completed, adding that the rainy season made it a practical time to pause filming.

The temporary suspension comes shortly after several major companies within the JoongAng Group, including JTBC and ContentreeJoongAng, filed for court-supervised restructuring. However, the drama’s production team maintains that the break is primarily for creative and production-related reasons.
