Kim So Yeon is officially set to return to the small screen, choosing JTBC’s upcoming drama Love Rediscovered (literal title) as her next project.
According to reports on April 7th, the actress will take on a leading role in the series, marking her first drama in about two years. The project was originally developed under the title Divorce Rediscovered, but was recently changed to Love Rediscovered, sparking curiosity about the story’s direction.
The drama is currently aiming for a September release, with JTBC confirming that scheduling is still under discussion.
Known for her versatility, Kim So Yeon has built a strong track record across genres with dramas like Prosecutor Princess, Beating Again, and I Need Romance 3. She also showcased a bold yet dark transformation in The Penthouse series, proving her wide acting range.
More recently, she earned praise for her role in JTBC’s 2024 drama A Virtuous Business, where she played the leader of a group of door-to-door adult product saleswomen. The performance was well received, making her upcoming reunion with JTBC all the more anticipated.
