Did the script controversy for The Return of the Superman become a blessing?

According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings survey agency, The Return of the Superman, which aired on March 1, recorded 9.1% for the first part and 14.3% for the second part. This figure is 1.5% higher than the 12.8% of previous episode.

The controversy over the script emerged earlier when a document that resembles a script was found in a preview of the show on February 27. Some claimed that the document on the table looked like a script that suggested the children’s words and actions for William and Bentley. Since the show was introduced as a ‘complete reality show’ from the start, the fact that the scripts were present at the scene created a stir.

The production team claimed that “the scripts contained the contents of the previous filming.” They also explained that “The contents are arranged right away at the site for the convenience of the production team. During filming, writers write down what children say and do on the spot.”

Meanwhile, The Return of the Superman airs every Sunday at 9:15 p.m KST.
