IZ*ONE released their first album, BLOOM*IZ and the music video for its title track “FIESTA” on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.
The album was originally schedules for its release in last November, but because of the lawsuit and the ongoing controversy about Mnet “Produce 101” series being rigged, the album was delayed for three months.
IZ*ONE’s first full-length album BLOOM*IZ is a combination of the word bloom and their name IZ*ONE. The album features the ‘flowering’ of all 12 members with their beauty.
In particular, BLOOM*IZ has a deeper meaning to both the group and to fans as it marks the end of ‘Flower Series’ of IZ*ONE. If the red passion of “La Vie en Rose” met the love of “Violeta,” the new title “FIESTA” will finally make the dreams come true.
Before the album’s release, IZ*ONE unveiled a variety of concept photos, both personal and group, and a music video teaser, heightening the expectations for their big comeback.
Even before the actual release, BLOOM*IZ has recorded around 160,000 pre-orders. Also by topping the overseas direct-selling platform “Ktown4U” and Japan Tower Records. IZ*ONE proved its unlimited growth.
Meanwhile, IZ*ONE broadcasted their comeback show on Mnet at 8 p.m. KST, and performed the title song “FIESTA” for the first time.
