Social 50 is a chart that shows the artist’s internet influence. Analytics company Next Big Sound will rank the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Wikipedia by totaling the artist’s additional followers, engagements and views.

According to Next Big Sound, BTS showed an upward trend in almost all during the latest count. Facebook “like” for BTS rose 69% to 32,000 while Twitter’s mentions increased 29% to 17.1 millions in total.

Billboard analyzed that the upturn was not only due to the promotion of the new song “Black Swan” but also the joint performance of “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X on Jan. 26.

With the record-breaking No. 1 on Social 50, BTS has proved its unequaled influence on social media.

Since entering the Social 50 in October 2016, BTS has stayed on the charts for the total of 173 weeks.
