BTS recorded the highest ticket sales last year in Korea thanks to its latest world tour.
Interpark, one of the largest ticket-booking websites in Korea, today (Feb. 6th, KST) announced the rankings of domestic concerts in 2019 on the basis of turnover and popularity. All sales of the purchased tickets via various channels―web, mobile, phone calls, associated sellers and etc.―were added up.
As a result, the Seoul concert of BTS’s 2019 world tour LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF took a No.1 spot on the chart. Hereby BTS has maintained its crown for Korean ticket sales for two consecutive years since 2018.
Meanwhile, BTS’s other two fan meeting events titled as 5TH MUSTER [MAGIC SHOP], which was held in Seoul and Busan respectively, entered the same yearly Top 10 ticket sales rankings as well. PSY, Park Hyo-shin and NU’EST also finished the Top 10 chart as the other remarkable Korean artists.
