Hyun Bin, who became a new father last month, shared his thought on his upcoming movie and becoming a father. “I will do my best to become a good father to my son,” he said.
The actor sat down with the press on December 20th to talk about his upcoming Movie, The Point Men. During the press conference, he was asked if Son Ye Jin had given him any advice on the new film, as they have both starred in a movie called The Negotiation. In the 2018 movie, the actress starred as an ace crisis negotiator.
Hyun Bin plays a NIS agent in the upcoming movie. Recalling his role in The Negotiation, he said, “I was the villain in that movie.” To which Hwang Jung Min quickly asked, “You two were dating at that time, right?” Everyone, including the press, shared laughs while Hyun Bin answered, “We were,” with a shy smile.
The actor revealed that his wife had not given him any specific advice on his role in the new movie. Regarding becoming a father to his newborn son, he said, “Nothing has been changed as to how I approach my roles in movies and film works. But now that I’ve become a father, I definitely feel more responsible and it’s unthinkable for me not to do everything possible for my child.”
