Kim Yoo Jung will be portraying the heart-fluttering romance of a 17-year-old girl in the new Netflix movie 20th Century Girl.
On the 26th, Netflix confirmed the release of 20th Century Girl on October 21st. This upcoming rom-com begins as Bo Ra plays cupid for her best Yeon Doo who falls in love for the first time. Kim Yoo Jung, Byeon Woo Seok, Park Jung Woo, Roh Yoon Seo, and more star in the movie.
The teaser poster shows Na Bo Ra (Kim Yoo Jung) looking straight ahead with a camcorder in her hands. The phrase, “Everything about the first love we wanted to know,” stimulates curiosity about the “first love story” – a keyword all generations can relate to – it will tell.
The trailer begins with a videotape recorded in 1999 being played, followed by scenes with the 20th-century-vibe. Then you see Bo Ra sighing as she hears her best friend Yeon Do say, “Someone stole my heart.” To fulfill her friend’s first love, Baek Hyun Jin (Park Jung Woo), Bo Ra set out to find out everything about him.
Through Hyun Jin’s best friend Poong Un Ho (Byeon Woo Seok), she learns everything there is to know about Hyun Jin, and while doing so, she grows close to Un Ho. Smiling brightly after figuring out his pager number, Bo Ra makes the viewers put a smile on their faces as well.
