BTS’s documentary film will be aired on JTBC to commemorate their Grammy Awards nomination.
JTBC announced on the 12th that it will broadcast Break the Silence: The Movie for the first time on TV to mark the group’s 2021 Grammy Awards nomination. To be aired at 10.30 p.m. KST on the 15th, the documentary film is about the behind-the-scenes of BTS’s first stadium world tour in 2019. After being released in more than 100 countries worldwide in 2020, it was loved by global fans as it captures the splendid appearance of BTS on stage, as well as their frank selves and feelings behind the stage.
Prior to this, BTS was named on the Grammy Award nomination list as the first Korean pop music singer with “Dynamite.” They will be competing for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category against global artists such as Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga. Following their visit to the Grammy Awards in 2019 as presenters and performers in 2020, attention is focused on whether BTS will gain the honor of winning the award.
The special reveal of Break the Silence: The Movie is for the band’s fans, celebrating the good news of BTS’s nomination. It will be aired on JTBC starting at 10.30 p.m. KST on the 15th.
