The members of GOT7 have been scattered. With the title of top boy group behind them, each member has started to seek his own way to make a fresh start.
Jackson has recently released his solo “Alone” on the 30th. It’s a song that reveals his full-fledged solo debut through his new crew, Team Wang. With lyrics about overcoming and trying something new by himself, the song makes a statement for his solo career. Jackson plans to stay active in various countries including China. Team Wang signed a business agreement with Sublime Artist Agency and will hold hands for global business which includes South Korea and China. In Sublime Artist Agency, there also is Youngjae, a member of GOT7. “I will continue to show everyone better performances and various activities as GOT7’s Youngjae and Choi Young Jae, so please look forwards to them,” he wrote on his SNS.
After building his acting career alongside GOT7’s activities with Beloved Eun-dong, He is Psychometric, When My Life Blooms and the movie A Stray Goat, Jin Young chose to sign with an actor company. He made himself at home at BH Entertainment and claimed he will “continue the journey with various activities as an actor and singer.” The movie Yacha is soon to be released. JB, who has been with Jin Young since the JJ project, chose to take a rest. As JB has been working on GOT7’s title songs, he is expected to continue to demonstrate his musical abilities.
The team’s eldest, Mark, revealed how he was doing in the U.S. He posted a thank-you video for a million subscribers through the YouTube channel he opened in 2010, but had never uploaded to. Currently, the number of Mark’s subscribers has reached 1.96 million, proving the popularity of GOT7. Mark continued, “We’ve got a million subscribers without a single video. I know you’re waiting for new content, but please give me some more time for now. I also collaborated with Sanjoy and that will come out on February 12th. The title is “One In a Million,” so everyone please look forward to it.”
BamBam is focusing on his activities in his hometown, Thailand. He is the advertising model for various products such as local drink and telecommunication networks, and he has been showing to maintain close communication with fans through Twitter. Yugyeom, who was rumored to be transferring to AOMG, has not confirmed this yet. However, he heralded his happy career as a solo singer by sharing the daily life of him dancing and singing on SNS.
