Jamie talked about the malicious comments she received and thanked Park Jin Young for his support.
Jamie appeared on MBC Everyone’s Video Star and shared her life. When Park Na Rae praised her for her “cool” reactions to malicious comments, Jamie replied, “It was really bad. It was shocking that someone living in the same world, and someone with the same brain would send me something like that.”
Jamie explained, “They would send photoshopped pictures of me. My body would have been compared to a certain fruit. Someone even sent me a video of himself moaning in a full latex clothes.”
She added, “But it wasn’t hard for me. I responded strongly, hoping that this ridiculousness ends with me.”
Later in the show, Park So Hyun asked, “Is it true that producer Park Jin Young apologized to you when your contract ended?” Jamie answered, “A day or two before my contract ended, Park Jin Young apologized to me saying that he was ‘in conflict about what direction he should suggest since you are good in everything.’ And he apologized that he couldn’t catch it sooner.”
Jamie said, “To me, he was the one who had been waiting. Rather than forcing me, he considered me as an artist and waited for me to search my own path. Thanks to that, I found the music that I wanted to do. I felt really emotional (when he said sorry). I had no idea he was thinking like that.”
