The fortune teller who previously predicted Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Sooyoung’s breakup is now weighing in on whether the former longtime couple could get back together.
On June 11th, YouTube channel MyoungDoryung uploaded a new video about the pair’s split, which was officially confirmed on June 9th.
Myeongdoryeong’s earlier prediction about Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung’s breakup gained renewed attention after the couple officially confirmed their split. In his latest video, he took a cautious tone, saying he was “careful and worried about every word.”
Asked what may have led to the breakup, he said Sooyoung seemed ready to move towards marriage, while Jung appeared more cautious. “I sense avoidance, caution and a lot of overthinking from him,” he said.
He also suggested the two may have drifted apart after waiting for the relationship to reach a turning point. “Because they had been together for so long, I think they both knew that if things continued this way, they would naturally break up,” he said.
“Only the two of them would know, but I think there was opposition from Jung Kyung Ho’s family,” he added.
Still, Myeongdoryeong said a reunion is possible.
“It hasn’t been long since they broke up, and even though they separated, there are still feelings of care, love, concern and consideration between them,” he said. “The situation can be turned around and it can lead to a reunion.”
He also claimed this likely was not their first split, saying, “I don’t think this was their first breakup.”
The fortune teller described Jung as “someone with a lot of thoughts” and “stubborn,” adding, “He tends to overthink and move cautiously, which may have been frustrating for Sooyoung.”
“They just kept minding each other, loving each other, worrying about each other and being considerate, and time passed,” he went on. “They waited for each other and got tired, and that’s how it ended.”
Myeongdoryeong first drew attention after a blind fortune reading from last December resurfaced online. At the time, while Jung and Sooyoung were still dating, he said, “They’re quite compatible, but I don’t see them getting married,” adding that there was a chance they would eventually separate.
Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung began dating in 2012 and went public with their relationship in 2014.
