Park Ji Hyun is gearing up to showcase a different side of herself in tvN’s upcoming workplace romance See You at Work Tomorrow! — and she’s giving credit to co-star Seo In Guk for helping bring the love story to life.
The actress recently opened up about the drama, which follows Cha Ji Yoon, a seventh-year office worker stuck in a rut who unexpectedly finds new excitement in both her career and love life after crossing paths with her demanding boss, Kang Si Woo, played by Seo.
Explaining why she chose the project, Park said the script immediately stood out. “The script was so much fun,” she said. “It tells a realistic story that I think a lot of people will relate to.”
Park described her character as someone who pours her heart into both work and relationships. “The more passionate she is, the more deeply she gets hurt. I felt there were parts of her that resembled me,” she explained.
Known for playing intense and charismatic characters, Park said she was excited to take on a warmer, more relatable role this time around. “It felt special to play such a lovable character in a romance-focused drama,” she said. “There haven’t been many projects where my character actually gets to experience a sweet love story, so I’m quite excited.”

The actress also had plenty of praise for Seo, revealing that he frequently helped her during filming. “He came up with a lot of ideas on set and made it easy for me to feel comfortable while acting,” she said.
She added, “He especially helped me during the romantic scenes. Whenever I felt unsure because I didn’t have much experience, he naturally guided me through them, just as you’d expect from a ‘rom-com master.'”
At the end of the interview, Park shared a fun detail about her real-life comfort food. While her character turns to fried chicken for comfort, the actress revealed she’s currently obsessed with gopdoritang, a popular Korean dish that combines spicy braised chicken and beef intestines.
See You at Work Tomorrow! premieres on June 22nd at 8:50 PM KST.
