Jang Dong Yoon is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kim Seung Yun, this fall.
OSEN reported on August 25th that the couple will tie the knot in October in a small, private ceremony attended only by close family members, including their parents and relatives.
Both Jang Dong Yoon and Kim Seung Yun are actors, and the two reportedly grew close through their shared profession. They first met while working together on a project, with Jang Dong Yoon serving as an actor and Kim Seung Yoon as the director. Their relationship has remained largely private, but after building a strong bond based on trust and affection, they decided to take the next step together.
Jang Dong Yoon has previously spoken openly about his thoughts on marriage in interviews. He once described marriage as “life’s ultimate homework” and said he hoped to find a partner who was similar to him. Despite being ambitious about his career, he also expressed a desire to get married before turning 40. Now in his mid-30s, he is set to marry the woman he has chosen as his lifelong partner.
Kim Seung Yun, born in 1997, is five years younger than Jang Dong Yoon. She graduated from Konkuk University’s Department of Film and Video in 2018 and made her acting debut in 2019 with the KBS2 historical drama The Tale of Nokdu. Jang Dong Yoon also starred in the series, gaining widespread attention for his performance as a man who disguises himself as a woman.
