The 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, one of Korea’s major awards ceremonies for streaming content, will be held on July 31 at 8:30 PM at Chroma, Paradise City in Incheon. It will be aired live on KBS2.
This year’s nominees have been officially announced. The awards recognize dramas and variety shows released on both domestic and global streaming platforms between June 1st, 2025, and May 31st, 2026.
The drama category is expected to be especially competitive, as shown by the record level of expert participation in this year’s voting.
For Best Picture, five works have been nominated: Made in Korea, Yumi’s Cells Season 3, You and Everything Else, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier and The Scarecrow. These titles mark the start of this year’s awards race.
The first round of public voting was held from June 17th to June 30th on the official Blue Dragon Series Awards website. The results were combined with expert votes to decide the final nominee list.
Final winners will be decided through netizen voting, which runs from July 2 to July 30 on the Celeb Champ app. The public vote counts as much as one judge’s vote. Before the main ceremony, a hand-printing event featuring last year’s winners will take place on July 7 at 11:00 AM at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall.
