Netflix has officially set a June 5th premiere date for its upcoming Korean action series Teach You a Lesson and unveiled the drama’s first teaser poster and trailer.
The series follows the Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a fictional government agency created to restore order to Korea’s collapsing education system amid escalating problems involving students, teachers and parents. Combining explosive action with emotionally grounded storytelling, Teach You a Lesson aims to tackle the harsh realities of modern school life head-on.
The newly released teaser poster introduces the ERPB team members Na Hwa Jin (played by Kim Moo Yul), Choi Kang Seok (Lee Sung Min), Im Han Lim (Jin Ki Joo) and Bong Geun Dae (P.O). The tagline, “Let us protect you,” hints at the bureau’s mission to stand by victims in broken educational environments and raises anticipation for how the team will handle increasingly dangerous situations.
The trailer opens with Na Hwa Jin revealing his identity as an ERPB inspector to stunned students before diving straight into the dark realities consuming schools — from classroom disruptions and bullying to gambling, drugs and even organized violence.
As the situation spirals further out of control, Na Hwa Jin calmly declares, “Don’t worry. We will protect you,” while Im Han Lim and Bong Geun Dae charge into action, signaling the start of the ERPB’s no-nonsense mission to restore order.
The trailer also showcases the series’ intense action sequences, including brutal group fights and high-speed car chases, as Na Hwa Jin and the ERPB team take down threats standing in their way.
Adding emotional weight to the story, Education Minister Choi Kang Seok states, “The ERPB stands not with teachers or students, but with the victims,” reinforcing the drama’s focus on protecting those caught in the middle of a broken system.
With its bold premise, wild action and unconventional approach to school justice, Teach You a Lesson is already building anticipation ahead of its release. The series premieres June 5th exclusively on Netflix.
