Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi pulled back the curtain on his family life after marrying actress Lee Da In, even revealing the first photo of their baby daughter on MBN’s Kim Ju Ha’s Day & Night.
During the November 29th broadcast, Lee spoke candidly about how marriage reshaped his day-to-day and softened the restlessness he often felt while living alone. “Being single can be great but there were moments when I’d come home and feel this huge emptiness,” he said. “You hit a goal, and it feels great for a second—but then it all feels empty again, and you start chasing the next one. It made me wonder if I’d spend my whole life just chasing goals until the day I die.”
Marriage, he added, shifted that mindset completely. “It has so many upsides. I feel grounded. I have a family I want to protect—a wife who’s firmly in my corner and a beautiful baby. Life feels simpler in the best way.”
With 21 years in the industry behind him, Lee admitted he’d been sprinting since his twenties. “I really needed time to recharge. Getting married gave me that sense of stability,” he said.
He also joked about the one hobby he tries not to give up: golf. “I go without feeling guilty… most of the time,” he laughed. “By coincidence—really not on purpose—I even had a tee time booked on our moving day last year.”
The highlight of the show came when Lee proudly showed hosts Kim Ju Ha, Moon Se Yoon, and Zo Zazz his 21-month-old daughter—his phone wallpaper. “Her eyes are like her mom’s, but the smile is all me,” he said, grinning as he shared more photos. Moon chimed in, “Her dimples are adorable. And the eyes? Totally her mom.”
Lee couldn’t hide his joy the entire time he showed the photos—a dad completely smitten.
