Kim Hye Yoon will join Jang Nara in the new season of the hit legal drama Good Partner.
An industry official revealed on November 5th that Kim Hye Yoon is in final discussions to join the series. The first season of Good Partner was a massive success, achieving a peak viewership rating of 17.7%.
Kim Hye Yoon is set to star as the new partner to Jang Nara, who will reprise her role from Season 1. Unfortunately, the original co-lead, Nam Ji Hyun, had to decline the new season due to scheduling conflicts. The production team has adjusted the script to introduce a brand-new character for Kim Hye Yoon to play alongside Jang Nara.
After her star-making performances in Lovely Runner and Extraordinary You, fans are eagerly anticipating Kim Hye Yoon’s move into the legal drama genre. She is famously known for her strong on-screen chemistry, and the dynamic she is expected to create with veteran actress Jang Nara is already generating significant buzz.
While waiting for the release of her other upcoming projects, Human from Today and the horror film Salmokji (working title), Kim Hye Yoon will begin preparing for Good Partner 2, which is scheduled to air in the second half of 2026.
