Disney Plus is bringing a sugar-and-spice rom-com this fall with Would You Marry Me?, starring Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min as unlikely newlyweds whose sham marriage starts to feel dangerously real.
The streamer dropped the main poster and trailer ahead of the series’ exclusive premiere on October 10th.The series follows two strangers who hatch a wild plan: survive a 90-day fake marriage to claim a luxury newlywed home prize. But as their picture-perfect wedding shoot art suggests, keeping emotions out of the contract isn’t as easy as they think.
Choi plays Woo Joo, the sharp-tongued heir to the bakery chain Myungsundang and an “all-rounder” whose perfectionist streak hides a surprisingly soft core. Across from him, Jung brings to life Me Ri, a scrappy designer and head of her own studio, who faces setbacks at every turn yet pushes forward with infectious grit and charm.

The trailer teases their clashing personalities—his bluntness, her relentless optimism—gradually giving way to an undeniable pull. As the two bicker, banter, and begin to lean on each other, sparks fly. One standout moment sees them on the verge of a kiss, with Woo Joo murmuring, “Fate always seems to be closer than you think,” hinting at a romance slipping past the point of no return.
Would You Marry Me? will stream every Friday and Saturday exclusively on Disney Plus.
