BTS’ Jin’s older brother has made a rare public appearance.
On June 16th, Jung Jun Ha uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel featuring a two-day, one-night Gapyeong trip with guests including Junggigo, Baby V.O.X members Lee Hee Jin and Shim Eun Jin, dancer couple J Black and Mary, sommelier Jun Jin Ah, chef Seri Myeong and more.
Among the guests was Kim Seok Jung, Jin’s older brother, who appeared as the group’s grill master.
Introducing him, Jung Jun Ha said, “His younger brother is BTS’ Jin.” Kim quickly drew attention for his subtle resemblance to the singer, from his large eyes and cheek line to the way he smiles.
Kim is already a familiar name among BTS fans. In 2020, Jin personally hosted his brother’s wedding, showing their close bond.
He also drew attention last year on KBS’s Boss in the Mirror, when chef Bae Jae Hoon said he had consulted on the restaurant run by Jin’s brother and helped turn it around. The restaurant was said to be bringing in monthly sales of 300 million won (roughly $200,000).
