More evidence of Kim Soo Hyun‘s past relationship with Kim Sae Ron has surfaced.
YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, also known as Hoverlab Inc., has released a letter that Kim Soo Hyun allegedly sent to Kim Sae Ron while serving in the military in 2018. According to the bereaved family, Kim Soo Hyun used to call Kim Sae Ron by the nickname “Sero Nero” during their relationship.
During a live broadcast, Garo Sero Institute claimed that Kim Soo Hyun has a habit of giving nicknames to his romantic partners. The channel alleged that he called himself YouTuber Kim Pari, the late Kim Sae Ron “Seronero,” and his Queen of Tears co-star Kim Ji Won “Kim Support.”
In the letter, Kim Soo Hyun addressed Kim Sae Ron as “Sero Nero” and wrote, “It’s hard to see you. How do you feel? I can’t put pressure on you, but the one thing I can say for sure is that I miss you.” At the time, Kim Sae Ron was 18 years old.
Garo Sero Institute also revealed a postcard that Kim Soo Hyun allegedly sent to Kim Sae Ron from Paris in 2019 while on a work-related trip. The postcard read:
“Sero Nero, I had a drink in Paris today. Stopped by a souvenir shop, picked up this postcard, and decided to write to you. I’ll be the one who nags you but takes good care of you. Love you, Sero Nero. You’re so precious. And I’ll always be sorry.”
Additionally, Garo Sero Institute released selfies and private photos of Kim Soo Hyun taken during his military service, claiming that there were multiple kissing photos. They insisted that there was ample evidence proving Kim Soo Hyun had dated Kim Sae Ron while she was still a minor.
In an interview with Garo Sero Institute, Kim Sae Ron’s aunt stated, “Even the family didn’t know they were dating. Celebrities can meet through their work and keep in touch with each other, right? But when he kept contacting her and even sent military photos, we found it strange. That’s when we realized what was going on. We strongly opposed it.”
The aunt also alleged, “They even talked about marriage.” When the YouTube channel’s host expressed shock, saying, “Wouldn’t she have still been a minor when they discussed marriage?” the aunt clarified, “That was after she became an adult, in her early 20s.”
When asked if the family had tried to stop them, she responded, “Of course we did. Do you think we would have supported it just because Kim Soo Hyun was successful and wealthy? There’s a more than 10-year age gap. Who do you think had a brighter future ahead?”
Previously, on March 10th, Garo Sero Institute reported an interview with Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family, claiming that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron had been in a six-year relationship starting when she was 15. However, Kim Soo Hyun’s side has repeatedly denied all allegations, calling them false and announcing plans for legal action.
