The countdown for BTS’s complete reunion has officially begun, with members RM and V recently updating fans on their military service status, hinting at the group’s imminent return.
V took to Instagram on the 23rd, posting “Sergeant Kim reporting in for survival check” alongside several photos. The images showcase his military life, revealing a more robust and dignified appearance that caught fans’ attention.
With 107 days left until his discharge, V reassured fans, writing “After this brutal winter passes, I’ll take good care of myself when spring arrives and come back to you all healthy.”
Earlier, RM also shared a photo with text reading “D-110. Sergeant Kim Nam June 3rd months and 21 days until discharge.” According to the post, RM will complete his service on June 10th.
RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin and Suga are all set to complete their military service this June. The members coordinated their enlistment timing to minimize the group’s hiatus and have already begun teasing their return to full group activities.
Jin and J-Hope have already completed their service. Jin, the first to finish, launched his solo activities post-discharge, while J-Hope, who completed his service in October last year, has been filling the group’s absence with solo concerts and album releases. Notably, J-Hope is set to show a more personable side through upcoming appearances on variety shows including MBC’s I Live Alone and JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.
As the military hiatus draws to a close, anticipation builds for BTS’s complete return. With the members themselves actively counting down to their discharge dates, fans are eager to see how the group will answer the public’s expectations upon their return.
