MAMAMOO’s Solar was recently involved in a shocking, unprovoked assault in Los Angeles.
Solar opened up about the incident during an Instagram Live, describing how a stranger suddenly attacked her and her group while they were walking down the street.
“We were walking together, about five of us, including Moonbyul, our hair staff and our manager, when a man coming from the opposite direction suddenly picked up a chair and came toward us,” Solar recalled. “He started cursing at us in English and then suddenly threw the chair in my direction. I was hit by pieces of the chair.”
“It was the first time in my life that I’d experienced anything like that,” she said. Solar explained that two of their managers stepped in, after which the man left the area.
“I couldn’t even scream at the time,” she recalled. “I had some bruises on my leg, but they’re gone now.”
Meanwhile, MAMAMOO is currently on a world tour, with upcoming performances across the Americas, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Japan.
