A new feud is brewing in Korea’s hip-hop scene, and it’s getting intense.

Big Naughty has stirred major controversy after releasing a diss track aimed at Swings, prompting a swift and firm response.

On April 16th, Big Naughty uploaded a video titled “INDUSTRY KNOWS” to his YouTube channel. The track includes highly explicit and direct lyrics, such as: “You tell your artists, ‘Let me f*** you and I’ll promote you.’ Then you go on YouTube acting all nice and laughing?”, “Neighboring rights? You sold them without their consent. To stop your bankruptcy, then bought your Porsche,” and “You shoved a kid 20 years younger and suddenly said he deserved to get hit.”

The lyrics also allege that Swings made inappropriate proposals to artists under his label, along with accusations tied to rights ownership and a past physical altercation.

As the track gained traction online, Swings addressed the controversy in a livestream. He pushed back on the claims, saying, “If I caused financial harm, would Noel and Yang Hong Won have renewed their contracts?” and “The music sales were to preserve the artists’ earnings, not for my personal gain,” rejecting the allegations about neighboring rights.

He also denied the assault claims, stating, “He says he’s the victim, but the actual aggressor is him,” and added, “Big Naughty made the first move—it’s all on CCTV.” Swings also shared text messages from last year, saying, “I thought this was already resolved, so I don’t understand why this is happening again.”

He concluded by questioning the intent behind the diss, saying, “I don’t know if he’s so angry at me that he’s distorting the facts,” and added that he would not respond to every allegation, calling some of them not worth addressing.
