Park Shin Hye is expecting her second child.
Her agency, Salt Entertainment, confirmed the news on April 14th in a phone call with Dispatch, stating, “Park Shin Hye is currently pregnant with her second child. The expected delivery is this fall. We ask for your warm support.”
Park married fellow actor Choi Tae Joon in 2022 and welcomed their first son later that same year. This second pregnancy comes four years into their marriage. According to insiders, she has recently passed the first trimester and entered the “stable period” of her pregnancy, and she plans to step back from the spotlight to focus on prenatal care for the time being.
The news follows a highly successful professional run for Park, who has recently solidified her status as a top-tier actress with back-to-back hits. She garnered significant attention for her leading role in the 2024 SBS series The Judge from Hell and followed it up with the recently concluded tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong.
