A year later, Yoon Bom returned stronger and more confident, having cleared her name in court. Sun Jae Gyu, too, was welcomed back warmly by the town during a school event, signaling how much had changed.
The finale’s biggest moment came when Yoon Bom opened a gift box Sun Jae Gyu had told her to save for when she missed him. Expecting something romantic, she was initially baffled by what she found—only to learn it was a dragon-patterned arm warmer that once covered his scars. Inside was his confession: “After meeting you, I finally found the courage to show my wounds to the world.”
Soon after, Sun Jae Gyu revealed the real surprise—a proposal. Before he could even finish, Yoon Bom answered with an enthusiastic “Yes,” sealing the couple’s happy ending.
