Actress and singer Nana has announced she will be returning to work following the home invasion incident she suffered earlier this month.

On November 26th, her agency Sublime shared an official update on Instagram, writing, “Although Nana went through a difficult time due to the recent incident, she has found the strength to resume activities thanks to the warm encouragement and support her fans sent.”

The agency confirmed that her previously scheduled commercial shoots and other engagements will proceed without changes. “Projects that fans have been waiting for—such as her album and photobook—are also moving forward as planned,” Sublime stated, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support shown to their artist. “We ask for your continued interest and encouragement.”

The invasion occurred around 6 AM on the 15th, when an armed intruder broke into Nana’s home in Acheon-dong, Guri. The suspect, a man in his 30s identified as A, has been arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and injury and will soon be handed over to prosecutors.

Authorities determined that A climbed up to the apartment’s veranda using a ladder and entered through an unlocked door. He allegedly choked Nana’s mother and caused injuries before Nana and her mother managed to overpower him in a physical struggle and call police.

When officers and fire responders arrived, A—who had suffered a jaw injury—was transported to a hospital for treatment. He reportedly told investigators he “didn’t know a celebrity lived there” and committed the crime because he needed money for living expenses.

Sublime added that Nana’s mother lost consciousness due to severe injuries from the intruder’s attack, and Nana herself also sustained physical injuries while escaping the threat. Despite the trauma, Nana is now preparing to return to work with support from fans and her agency.
