Jo Bo Ah confirmed she’s pregnant with her first child.
My Daily reported on November 25 that the actress is currently pregnant and is expected to give birth late next winter.
This exciting news comes just over a year after her marriage. Jo Bo Ah held a private wedding ceremony with her non-celebrity husband at a hotel in Seoul on October 12th of last year.
She has safely passed the early stages of pregnancy and is now in the stable period of her second trimester, according to an industry insider. She is reportedly focusing on her health and prenatal care while celebrating the joy of this new life. Jo has shared the news with close friends and family and is currently receiving an outpouring of congratulations.
Jo Bo Ah made her debut in 2011 with a role in the JTBC sitcom Living Among the Rich. She has since built a strong career with roles in dramas such as Shut Up & Let’s Go, The King’s Doctor, All About My Mom, Temperature of Love, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman and Dear Hongrang.
She filmed the upcoming Disney series Knock Off while pregnant, though its release has been delayed due to controversy involving male lead Kim Soo Hyun. She reportedly completed over 90% of the filming before stepping back. Although she had previously postponed her honeymoon to focus on the production, she is now resting while awaiting the series’ release.
