A scandal surrounding Lee Yi Kyung’s personal life has taken a sharp turn.
The controversy began when a woman claimed she had exchanged sexual messages with the actor. The woman later admitted they were all AI-generated lies, but she has now suddenly changed her story.
When the screenshots first surfaced, Lee Yi Kyung denied the rumors and announced plans for strong legal action. His agency, Sangyoung ENT, confirmed on November 3rd that they filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman, adding that “there has been no settlement or monetary compensation whatsoever.”
The incident seemed to be resolved after she posted an apology, admitting that the entire scandal was based on “a fake video and pictures generated by AI.”
However, the accuser completely reversed her position in new social media posts on November 4th, just one day after the lawsuit was announced.

“I’m considering whether to reveal proof shots. It’s unfair to end it like this,” she wrote. She then directly contradicted her own apology, stating, “The AI explanation was all a lie,” and even disputed the agency’s legal claims, writing, “I have never been sued.”
Her new posts have further confused the public. She also hinted at having photos of herself wearing “specific colored clothing.”
As these unverified claims spread, fan concern continues to grow. The controversy comes as Lee Yi Kyung exited the popular show Hangout with Yoo, and a planned role as MC for The Return of Superman also fell through.
SBS Entertainment News reported that they have reached out to Lee Yi Kyung’s representatives to ask about the accuser’s new claims but has not received a response.
