Yoo Jae Suk personally spoke about actor Lee Yi Kyung’s recent departure from MBC’s variety show Hangout with Yoo.
On the November 8th episode, Yoo said, “Because of his busy schedule with dramas and films, he talked it over with the production and decided that it’d be best stepping down from the show. Yi Kyung really gave it all these past three years.”
He continued, “Unfortunately, our broadcast schedule shifted suddenly, and the date was fixed before he could say his final farewell. We hope viewers understand, and we’ll keep supporting Yi Kyung in all his upcoming work.”
Co-host Joo Woo Jae added, “He’s been packed with schedules for months,” while Haha chimed in, “Even the farewell shoot kept getting pushed back,” expressing their regret.
MBC’s Hangout with Yoo airs every Saturday at 6:30 PM KST.
