Rumors that a Hollywood star would be joining the cast of Squid Game 3 had garnered a lot of interest from netizens. However, after one hour of the show premiering, fans have discovered who the actor is.
Rumors that an Hollywood actor participated in the filming of Season 3 began soon after Season 2 was released. It was believed that Leonardo Dicaprio was set to star in the show. especially due to his fondness of the series and actor Lee Jung Jae.
At the time the rumor began circulating, Netflix immediately responded to the idea, stating, “These are groundless rumors.” However, because Leonardo DiCaprio revealed that he was a fan of Squid Game 3 and director Hwang Dong Hyeok and star Lee Jung Jae had mentioned Leonardo in the past, viewers began to suspect that the Hollywood actor would somehow be involved in the series.
