A familiar pink vibe returned on the April 20th episode of SBS’s Running Man, as the cast took on the “Running Merchant Association” race.

While moving between missions, Song Ji Hyo casually suggested, “Let’s just go with what I like first,” as she began shopping. Kim Jong Kook smiled and said, “You’re the CEO now—look at you, all business-minded.”

Then came a moment that sent fans and castmates into a frenzy. Ji Hyo began to say, “Yeobo…” (a Korean term of endearment like “honey”), before quickly correcting herself to say “Yeoboseyo” (“hello” on the phone). But it was too late—the spark had been lit.

The members jumped on it immediately. Haha and Yang Se Chan teased, “Wait, what was that? We can’t just ignore this. Next thing we know, it’ll be honey and darling!” Ji Hyo laughed, clearly flustered but not denying the moment.

Later, during lunch, Jee Suk Jin asked, “Hey Ji Hyo, why did you call Jong Kook ‘yeobo’?” Before she could even answer, Haha interjected, “It sounded really warm.” Yang Se Chan added, “Honestly, it felt like something you’d hear from a couple who’ve been married 30 years.”

Yoo Jae Suk, ever the observer, commented, “We don’t really play up the love line stuff anymore—but that one was suspicious.” Even Kim Jong Kook joined in with a laugh: “I’m the one she said it to, and it even caught me off guard. I almost said ‘yeobo’ back!”
