Netflix has released the main poster and trailer for its highly anticipated series Weak Hero Class 2 amid growing excitement from fans worldwide.

The new season continues the story of model student Yeon Si Eun (Park Ji Hoon), who transfers to Eunjang High School carrying the trauma of having stood up against violence for his friend but ultimately failing to protect them. The series chronicles his desperate survival and growth as he confronts even greater violence, determined never to lose another friend again.

After Weak Hero Class 1 rocketed into Netflix’s TOP 10 in 70 countries upon release and remained in the TOP 10 Series (Non-English) category for two consecutive weeks, anticipation for the sequel has reached fever pitch.

The newly released main poster shows Yeon Si Eun with a battered face, staring intensely at something. The anger and determination in his deep gaze foreshadow the violence and unfinished battles awaiting him at his new school.

Park Hoo Min (Ryeoun), Seo Jun Tae (Choi Min Yeong), and Go Hyun Tak (Lee Min Jae) hint at the new friendships formed at Eunjang and the battles they’ll fight together. Adding to the tension are Choi Hyo Man (Yu Su Bin), Na Baek Jin (Bae Na Ra), and Geum Sung Je (Lee Jun Young), who threaten the school’s stability. Behind them, Eunjang students stand together under umbrellas, intensifying curiosity about the coming conflicts.

The main trailer begins with Yeon Si Eun moving through a crowd of delinquent students before introducing the formidable student alliance known as “Union.” Si Eun’s chilling warning to Na Baek Jin, the Union’s leader, raises questions about the events that will put them at odds.

Meanwhile, Park Hoo Min, known as “Baku” and renowned for his strength, appears as a justice-driven protector of Eunjang against the alliance’s threats. While he approaches Si Eun with a friendly smile, saying “You don’t need to worry about stuff like the Union anymore, okay?,” his confrontation with Na Baek Jin and Baek Jin’s response, “I still think of you as a friend,” hints at a complex history between them.

With Park Hoo Min’s declaration, “Let’s end this!” the trailer explodes into intense action sequences, particularly spotlighting the repeated clashes between Yeon Si Eun and Geum Sung Je that promise to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Weak Hero Class 2 will be released globally on Netflix on April 25th.
