Sulli‘s older brother has once again posted a cryptic post online, raising speculation that it may be directed at actor Kim Soo Hyun amid his ongoing controversies.
On March 28th, Choi—Sulli’s brother—shared a short but pointed message to his Instagram: “It’s been six years since I lost her. Six years of you toying with her. You’ve got six years of pain ahead. Don’t break too quickly.”
While no name was mentioned, many netizens believe the post is directed at Kim Soo Hyun, who’s been under scrutiny following renewed attention on his alleged relationship with actress Kim Sae Ron—a minor at the time.
This isn’t the first time Choi has posted suggestive messages. On March 21st, as rumors surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were trending online, he wrote, “Kim, there’s so much I want to say, but I can’t. You’ll fall from a high place, so hold on tight.”
The post immediately sparked backlash and speculation, prompting Choi to follow up the next day. “How is it that people who claim to be fans are the least helpful? I never even mentioned the name Soo Hyun, but here you all are, rushing in without checking the facts.” He added, “I’ve spent years living off one sentence: ‘It couldn’t be helped.'”
The posts didn’t stop there. On the 23rd, he wrote, “Your life, my life, everyone’s life is so ‘real,'” referencing the 2017 film Real, which starred both Sulli and Kim Soo Hyun.
Then most recently on the 27th, he posted a single word: “Sadist.” The term, typically used to describe someone who derives pleasure from inflicting pain on others, stirred even more concern among followers. When asked directly if his cryptic posts were true, Choi simply responded, “Real sadist.”
