Korean medical drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call continues its successful run on Netflix’s global non-English TV show rankings.
According to Netflix’s Top 10 platform on February 19th, The Trauma Code secured the seventh position on the weekly global non-English TV show chart, accumulating 19.5 million viewing hours between February 10th and 16th, demonstrating remarkable staying power.
The series, which premiered on January 24th, follows genius military surgeon Baek Gang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon) as he attempts to revive an ineffective trauma center team.
Meanwhile, Squid Game 2 maintained its strong performance, landing at number eight with 19.2 million viewing hours.
However, the newly released original series Melo Movie, which dropped all episodes on Valentine’s Day, failed to break into the global Top 10 rankings. The romantic drama, starring Park Bo Young, Choi Woo Sik, Lee Jun Young, and Jeon So Nee, follows young adults navigating love and dreams while helping each other overcome personal traumas.
On the domestic front, The Trauma Code topped Netflix Korea’s weekly chart, with Melo Movie following closely at second place as word-of-mouth continues to build.
