JYP’s New Boy Group KickFlip Grace First Magazine Cover, Talk Debut Success

JYP’s rookie group KickFlip is capturing fans’ hearts with their diverse energy as they make their magazine cover debut.

The seven-member group showcases their status as “K-pop’s next super rookies” in the March issue of @style magazine, set to release February 21st. Members Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon displayed their versatility, emanating charisma in all-black ensembles before switching to vibrant, youth-inspired styling that highlighted their multifaceted appeal.

The excitement was palpable during the accompanying interview. “We’re truly happy to have made our debut. Our dream is just beginning, and we’ll work hard to reach even bigger stages,” the members shared. Addressing the success of their first mini-album Flip it, Kick it! which topped various album charts, they expressed gratitude to their fans: “We won’t forget our gratitude and want to work even harder. For our supportive fans, we’ll practice more diligently and grow.”

KickFlip’s debut is already making waves in the industry. Their first mini-album Flip it, Kick it! released on January 20th, recorded 322,000 units in Circle Chart shipments, topping both the weekly album chart and weekly retail album chart (January 19th-25th). On the Hanteo Chart, they achieved initial sales of 276,881 copies, earning them an official first-week sales certification. The group continues to show strong growth, recently surpassing 1 million followers on their official TikTok channel.
